About
A forum, on purpose.
A place for people building their own software products to ask specific questions and get specific answers.
What it is
A forum with sections for every part of the job, from the first idea to the day you sell. Threads stay findable, so an answer given once keeps helping. Browse it without an account.
Who it is for
Solo founders, small teams and developers working on their own products. Profiles are public, so you can see who you would be talking to on the members page.
How it pays for itself
Reading the open forum is free and a free account lets you post. The site is paid for by Premium memberships and by licences for its source code. See pricing.
How it is run
Independently, on our own server, with first-party and cookieless analytics. The guidelines say what is and is not welcome, and staff posts are always marked as staff.
Starter threads
Most sections open with a pinned guide and a couple of prompts written by staff, to show what a good post there looks like. They are labelled as such. Everything else is written by members.
