For the work of running the business day to day: customer support, refunds, disputes, documentation, processes and the tools that hold it together.
When you ask for help, include:
- What you sell and how many customers you have
- Who handles support and how many hours a week
- How requests arrive: email, chat, a form, social media
- How many you get each week
- The specific problem
Good threads
- How your support is set up and what it costs
- Templates and saved replies that work
- Handling refunds, and your policy
- Chargebacks and disputes
- Dealing with a difficult customer
- Documentation that reduced support requests
- What you automated and what you kept personal
- Running the company when you are ill or on holiday
Before you post, remove customers' names, emails and any other personal details. Describe the situation without identifying the person.
Support is also your best source of product research. The questions customers ask show you where the product is unclear, and the words they use belong on your landing page.
