Student, first product, no idea what I'm doing (Bristol)

#1

Hi! Ellie, final year computer science at Bristol. I built an app to split bills in a shared house because our house spreadsheet caused an actual argument about oat milk.

Real number: 0 customers, 14 users (my house and the house next door).

Stuck on: everything? But mainly, people say "charge from day one" and people also say "students never pay for anything". Both seem true.

Welcome. Both are true. Students do not pay. Landlords and letting agents do. Sell it to whoever is fed up with being emailed about oat milk.

Welcome Ellie. Post the app in Design & UX when you are ready and I will look at it. I am blunt but I always say one nice thing first.

Before you pivot to landlords: of your 14 users, how many opened it in the last 7 days? If it is more than 9, you have something. If it is 3, the problem is not pricing.
