I learned SQL and now I am the problem

#1

Confession. For four years I built everything in no-code tools and told developers they were overcomplicating things. Then I learned SQL in January and I have rewritten half of Formulário in it, and yesterday I told a no-code friend he was "overcomplicating things with all those automations".

I have become what I mocked. Is there a support group.

This is the support group. I run an automation consultancy and half my new clients are people whose 140-step automation should have been one query. The other half are people whose 400-line script should have been one automation.

The skill is knowing which. You have only been on one side for nine months, give it time.

You are not the problem. You are in the second month of knowing a join exists. It passes. Please index your foreign keys.

#5

SELECT * FROM friends WHERE patience > 0. Returns zero rows after you learn SQL.

Late to this. Six years of backend here and I am going the other way: I built my landing page and waiting list in a no-code tool last week because writing it myself would have taken three evenings. Nobody is the problem. The evenings are the problem.
