- Paying customers and revenue
- Hours spent preparing
- What happened a month later
Questions for the replies
- Did the ranking or the attention match the revenue?
- Where did the buyers come from, as opposed to the visitors?
- What would you skip next time?
Patterns that show up often in honest results: a large spike in visits and few sales, most of the lasting value coming from the handful of users who gave feedback, and a second or third launch elsewhere doing as well as the first with far less effort.
If your launch got 40 visits and no sales, post it. Somebody planning theirs needs to know that this is a normal outcome.
