- The channel
- How long you kept at it
- What you put in: hours, money
- What came back
- Why you think it failed: wrong audience, wrong offer, wrong format, too early to tell
- What finally made you stop
Some things to check before you write a channel off:
- Were your buyers actually there, or people who look like them?
- Did you give it long enough? Search and content often need months. Outreach and ads usually show something within weeks.
- Was the channel wrong, or was the offer wrong? A weak offer fails everywhere.
- Were you measuring the right thing? Followers and visits are easy to count and loosely tied to revenue.
The most common answer in threads like this is a channel that produced plenty of attention from other founders and no customers. If that describes yours, say so. It is a useful warning.
