Two apps, one cat, no co-founder: gig planning for bands

#1

Setlist exists because my band lost a gig to a group chat. Three bands, one venue, zero coordination. Now 310 euros MRR from bands paying 8 euros a month to never lose a gig to chaos again.

Solo-dev mobile reality: release trains matter more than features (every second Tuesday, small), TestFlight/Play testing tracks are your QA team (12 bands test everything, they find everything), and the cat contributes by sitting on the keyboard during builds, which counts as chaos testing.

Question: how do you get bands to pay? Answer: the drummer pays. It is always the drummer. Something about keeping time and keeping calendars.

Podcast parallel: the host pays. Always the host. The person who feels the chaos most buys the tool. Sell to the pain-holder, not the team.

#3

Restaurant parallel: the owner pays, but only after the Friday disaster. Everybody buys after the disaster. The trick is being installed before it. Free during calm, paid after chaos.

SEO note: "gig planning for bands" owns a tiny keyword cluster with zero competition. Niche apps + niche keywords = cheap acquisition. Are you writing about band logistics?
